Sea Transportation

Dipolog City has no wharf of its own and is relying on the port of Pulawan in Dapitan City and Nabilid Port in the Municipality of Roxas which is approximately nine (9) and sixteen (16) kilometers respectively away from the urban center of Dipolog City.

However, the city has an on-going feeder port construction project under DOTC situated at barangay Galas, approximately 4 kilometers away from the heart of the city.

The City Government of Dipolog applied for a loan for PREMIUMED to complete the Feeder Port Project.

Shipping Lines

Based on the 1997 data presented, there are seven (7) shipping lines operating in the City.

1.      GP Lines with its booking office at General Luna Street is serving with four (4) cargo-passenger ships.

Outgoing - 125 tons

1.      Cokaliong Shipping Lines has two (2)  cargo-passenger ships with booking office at Katipunan  Street.

Incoming - 86 tons
Outgoing - 69 tons

1.      Trans-Asia Shipping Lines has one (1) cargo-passenger ship with its booking office along Burgos Street.

Incoming - 250 tons
Outgoing - 145 tons

1.      Sulpicio Lines, Inc. has one (1)  cargo-passenger with booking office at Echavez Street.

Incoming - 20 units 1092 van
Outgoing - 15 units 1092 van

1.      WG & A Super Ferry has one cargo-passenger with booking office at Echavez Street.

o        Average Volume of Cargoes
Incoming - 17 units 1092 van per week
Outgoing - 12 units 1092 van per week

1.      Delta Fast Ferries a non-cargo sea vessel has one (1) craft with booking office at C.P. Garcia Street and at the pier area at Pulawan, Dapitan City

2.      Lastly, Negros Navigation Group a non-cargo vessel has two (2) fast craft with booking office at General Luna Street and at the pier area at Pulauan, Dapitan City.
