Brief
History of DCSI
The Dipolog Computer Systems, Inc. was organized on
April l8, l994 by a group of concerned and dedicated;
respectable and young professionals and businessmen. It is
registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as
a stock corporation primarily, to provide competent computer
education and training to our studentry and secondly, to engage
in the trade of computer hardware and supplies.

In the early days, DCSI operated the Systems Technology
Institute (STI) in Dipolog City under a franchise agreement
until l995. Since then, DCSI operated on its own at its present
site along A. Bonifacio St. Cor. P. Ramon St., Estaka, Dipolog
City. Now on its fourth year of
“stand alone” operation, DCSI has produced graduates
who are now gainfully employed in different government and
private offices and establishments locally. And there are those
who are now employed in foreign countries like the USA, New
Zealand, UAE, Kuwait, etc.
DCSI
is an accredited learning institution and at present, under the
control and supervision of the Technical Education and Skills
Development Authority (TESDA). Known for its mission to provide
quality computer education and training to the students to make
them globally competitive in this age of Information and
Technology, DCSI was the recipient of the support of some
personalities in the Education sector namely, Dr. Avelina Eguia,
Division Superintendent of Schools, Zamboanga del Norte, Dr.
Liberty C. Tupas, Regional Director, TESDA IX, and Dr. Alberto
P. Fenix, Member TESDA Board and National President, Philippine
Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) by way of being our
commencement speakers and the public in general.
Effective SY 200l, DCSI adopts Competency Based
Vocational Education (CBVE) and Dual Training System (DTS)
programs of TESDA.
