My Educational Background:
I finished my primary and secondary education, modesty
aside as class valedictorian, in Cagayan Capitol College, Cagayan
de Oro City. I took up Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications of
the University of the Philippines, Cebu College and finished my
degree last April, 1995. Since I got a job after graduation, I
have not gone back to study but am still very much interested to
study law.
2. My Professional
Experience: Right after graduation, I was hired by GMA
Channel 7, Cebu as a news reporter and at the same time worked as
a news writer and staff member of a local newspaper in Cebu called
“The Freeman”. After I was offered a marketing communications
position I moved to PilTel on April 1996. I’ve been with PilTel
for more than 4 years now and have handled marketing for Vismin
and business and office operations in Pagadian and now in Dipolog.

My Experience in Beauty
Pageants:
I once joined a school-related beauty pageant, where I
represented the elementary department in elementary school in
Cagayan Capitol College. I was the youngest contestant then.
4. In
every game are set of rules. Are you willing to abide by the rules
governing the Pageant? State
restrictions if any. Yes. As to my restrictions, I don’t
have specific limits, just as long as it will not, in any way,
exploit us. But this being a reputable beauty pageant, I’m sure
the rules will even protect the candidates from any form of
exploitation.
5. Are you willing to
spare your time in preparation for the pageant or devote it to
project in case you win? Yes

As Mutya sa Dipolog, you have a set of duties and
responsibilities. You are privileged to be given a voice in the
City Tourism Council. What project do you propose to the council? I
would propose a continuos Eco-Tourism project that will not only
promote Dipolog City as a nice city to visit but as a better place
to live in because of its unabashed natural resources – which
will only happen if everyone will do their share in preserving
nature. It has to be a project that’ll motivate each one to
actively participate and be counted. |
