Brief Personal Profile of
Julius Cabilin Napigquit
Attorney Julius Cabilin
Napigquit, 40 years old, was born on August 6, 1963
in Dapitan City. He finished elementary studies on
March of 1976 at Estaka Elementary School. He
completed his secondary education at Southwestern
University on 1980. He is a graduate of BS in Civil
Engineering in the year 1988 at Andres Bonifacio
College and he was able to pass the Civil
Engineering Board Examinations in Cebu on November
23-24, 1991.
He decided to take
another step forward by taking a Law Degree in ABC
and eventually passed the National Bar exams on
September 28, 1996 with a 77.75% passing average.
His service record is quite
outstanding that tells us a story of a striving
individual, which all started as a contract worker
for numerous government agencies such as the
Department of Agrarian Reform with the position CARP
Technician. He also became a Clerk working at the
City Assessor’s Office of Dipolog then as a Civil
Engineering Aide of the Department of Public Works
and Highways.
After passing that board exam in
1996, he then putted up his own law firm, the
Napigqit & Napigquit Law Office on April of that
same year. His proficient dedication to public
service eventually landed him a top position in the
Local Government of Dipolog as the City Information
Officer on August of 1998.
He continued his way through scrap
and metal as a public servant up to the point when
he decided to enter into the world of politics and
won as City Councilor during the May 15, 2001
elections.
Councilor Napigquit walked down the
aisle with Annielouise D. Bergado, which now blessed
them with six children namely John Winston, John
Floyd, Julie Anne, Josef Hanz, Jessa Lou Kashfi and
finally Jean Althea. |
