 I.  FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

                Shall exercise general supervision and control over all programs, projects,  services and activities of the city government. Provide efficient, effective and   economical  governance the purpose  of which is the general welfare of the city  and its inhabitants.

  II.  OBJECTIVES

        1. To provide leadership in the political, social, economic and infrastructural  activities  in the city of Dipolog.

        2. To effectively implement, generate, accelerate and coordinate all government activities,  policies, programs and projects for the betterment of the city.

        3. To develop the city administration and the city of Dipolog reflective of the   sentiments,  dreams and aspirations of the Dipolognon in harmony with   national goals, policies and   leadership.
