Sinulog started in Cebu City. It is now  considered a national festivities,  just like Brazil celebrate their Mardi Gras. Sinulog is a dance ritual in  honor of the mira- culous image of the Santo Niño. The dance moves two  steps  forward and one step backward to the sound of the drums. This movement resembles the current (Sulog) of what was known as Cebu's Pahina River.  Dipolog City has its share on  this  festivities.  The pictures  below  were  taken  January 29,  2000  at  the Dipolog Sinulog 2000.  Hi my name is Rheynolds, Im the one responsible for all the pictures on this  Dipolog Sinulog 2000.  I  had  taken  that  especial  day  just  to  take  this pictures so you enjoy the festival just as I do.
